Boyko Naydenov: The Ministry of the Interior should ensure peace for the conduct of the elections, and not determine the - 1

Denkov referred the ad hoc prosecutor Daniela Taleva in the case of the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Zhivko Kotsev.

"It is about a retired prime minister, chief secretary of the Ministry of the Interior, ministers - people in the highest positions of the state. If what is being presented to the general public is something normal, I don't agree," commented the former director of the National Investigation Service Boyko Naydenov in "The Day ON AIR".

In the case of allegations that you participated in criminal activity, it is normal to incur criminal liability, he pointed out.

"I have worked with several chief secretaries of the Ministry of the Interior. If the level has fallen this far, too bad for this country. The Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs should know how the agency work is scheduled, the operational work, who has the right to do such work. It is absurd for him to conduct operational work in this way. If he wanted to reveal smuggling channels, he should have followed the established order," Naydenov explained to Bulgaria ON AIR.

The former director of the National Investigative Service does not see why Daniela Taleva "has been transferred all expectations for solving the problems of today".

"What exactly is expected? Nothing. It is strange that a few days after the start of such an investigation, the whole of Bulgaria knows what is being investigated, who is being investigated - this is absurd. "What investigative secret are we talking about?" he asked.

Naydenov emphasized that, in his opinion, Zhivko Kotsev's behavior was unacceptable: "He is a professional head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs".

He specified that he had heard the name of wanted man Nikola Nikolov - Pascal several times.

"He was wanted for a long time. Then, his search was mysteriously lifted. Other people have engaged in this kind of activity. Then we found the smuggling activity. We have proven money laundering. I don't know at this moment who these people are - Stefan and Marin Dimitrovi. If they have a criminal record, it is inconvenient to take pictures with them, it is inconvenient to give gifts," said the former director of the National Investigation Service.

In his words, the Ministry of the Interior should ensure peace for the conduct of the elections, and not determine the results of the elections.

"Something will come to light if at some point those in power also need the people who empower other people to want to get to the truth. Politicians are an emanation of society. People decide. "We are going around in a circle," Naydenov summarized.
