Political scientist: Yesterday I saw Kalin Stoyanov with 10 security guards, apparently there is a reason - 1

It is clear that the vote will not be higher, will decrease or will remain as in the previous elections. That's exactly what it aims for. The only way to overcome the bought vote is for those 70% to come out and vote.

This is what political scientist Diana Sivinova commented in an interview with BNR.

„We all know that's not going to happen because people aren't going to go out and vote for something they don't like,” she argued.

According to her, the changes in the Constitution are not normal and they are “like a patch in the overall picture”.

„Many things turned out to be inconsistent and instead of drawing eyebrows, they pulled out eyes, and not for the benefit of those who voted for this Constitution, but to their detriment. It was aimed and achieved - to depersonalize political subjects, they are all the same, come from the same place and have the same morals. The big issue is that people don't see anything optimistic“, the political scientist believes.

Regarding the stay of Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov, she said that yesterday she saw him at the protest with 10 security guards.

„And he is pressured in every way to stay, and he doesn't mind. I witnessed yesterday, he was walking with 10 security guards, he hardly likes that, but apparently there is a reason. Borisov claims that he has nothing to do with him, Glavchev thought all night about whether to stay in the official office. Who does Kalin Stoyanov have in common with?“, asks Diana Sivinova rhetorically.

And predicts that the vote will most likely be falsified even without it.

„If Stoyanov was bad, how did he work with Denkov for 9 months?“.

„We are presented with something, but we do not have the whole picture and we have to guess or hesitate to vote, saying to ourselves “everyone is a mask” and stay at home“, predicts the political scientist.

She commented on PP-DB's mistakes as follows:

„They made many mistakes in the past and they say to themselves that they are mistakes of growth, but unfortunately they cost the fate of Bulgaria. There is a certain amount of naivety in this, and it was incomprehensible to me how they change the Constitution and laws with people who do not want anything to change and who created these laws. And they expect the same people to vote with them.

According to her, the candidates for MPs are unequal because some are active MPs and the others are not in the National Assembly.

„The damage is much greater and I do not see what the benefits of this change of the Constitution are. At the moment, if new players do not appear, and not one, but efforts are being made to prevent this from happening, the picture will not change dramatically. The political scene will not produce anything new, except for the consolidation of existing patterns. The unspoken coalition between GERB and DPS is not so voluntary, it clearly has dependencies, said Diana Sivinova.
