A serious accident with a motorcyclist in Sofia. A motorcycle and a car collided. A 49-year-old man is in a very serious condition, in a coma, bTV reported.
A signal about the incident was received at 11:16 a.m., emergency services told bTV. The ambulance arrived at the scene in four minutes.
The victim was taken to “Pirogov” with polytrauma, traumatic brain injury and in a coma, but alive.
The accident took place on “Todor Aleksandrov” Blvd. and “Edirne“ towards the center. There is no information about other victims.
For the last 24 hours, there have been 20 serious accidents in the country. A total of 28 people were injured, the Ministry of the Interior reports. In Sofia, 26 minor traffic accidents without injuries were registered.
