This was stated before the BNR by Georgi Georgiev, Deputy Chairman of the Metropolitan Municipal Council.

So far we have 325 people, victims of a political purge. If it was a private company, the Labor Inspectorate would immediately come in for an inspection," the interlocutor told the media.

"We are talking about ordinary lawyers, accountants, engineers, experts, even hygienists in the Municipality. There are some interesting contests. We are watching who will win them. They turned the Municipality into a Labor Bureau. The goal is to arrange some of their people at work", added Georgi Georgiev.

"We have not increased the nurses' money, but Terziev's salary has gone up,", Georgiev also noted.
"The sisters work for 1350 BGN. The salaries of officials and rank-and-file experts have been raised by only 10%, and those of city transport drivers - only by 15%, raising the mayor's salary is not serious," he added.
