I am not worried that DANS and the prosecutor's office will check the contract with "Botash". There is no problem with it, a problem can happen if there is a willful failure to fulfill its clauses.
This is how the former Acting Minister of Energy Rosen Hristov commented on Euronews Bulgaria's PrimeTime broadcast that the document with the Turkish company will be given for investigation.
"The idea for him then was not to run out of gas and to ensure diversification and to be able to buy gas from Europe," added Hristov.
"Botash does not sell gas in Bulgaria, and if we do not use the contract with the company, we can give it to another EU country," he claims.
They have returned to pipeline gas from Russia through intermediaries. OK, but from now on there are a number of countries in Europe that want their gas not to be Russian, that is, they are looking for alternative sources.
According to Hristov, "at the moment, Russia also has access to the Bulgarian gas transmission network".
Criticisms of the president and official authority are fabricated. As they want to establish regular power and rule, he added, referring to the former rulers.
"There was no way to expect this caretaker government to function normally, given the conjuncture in which it was created. The Prime Minister himself is in a serious conflict of interest, I do not know how he will perform his functions at the head of the Audit Chamber. Now we are in a stalemate," added Hristov.
