Official Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov will participate in a joint session of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and the defense of the member states of the European Union (EU), announced the press center of the Ministry of Defense, BTA reported.
The forum will take place in Luxembourg within the framework of a meeting of the “Foreign Affairs” Council.
The main topic of the discussions will be Russian aggression against Ukraine, including military support for Ukraine and the EU's long-term commitments to the country's security. It is planned that the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine will participate in the meeting via video conference.
NATO defense ministers confirmed on Friday their commitment to strengthening Ukraine's defense at an extraordinary meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council, which took place via video conference.
