When I am in Bulgaria, I meet and talk with right-wing politicians. I met Boriosv twice. I had meetings with Kiril Petkov and Hristo Ivanov. In recent months, I had conversations with Delyan Peevski. He is a prime mover on the issue of aid to Ukraine in the parliament. This was stated by former Finance Minister Simeon Dyankov in the program "This Morning".
The expert revealed that one of the topics on which he talks with right-wing politicians is Bulgaria's entry into the Eurozone.
At the moment GERB and PP-DB are not on speaking terms. I have known them for a long time. I taught Kiril Petkov's class at Harvard. They are not talking at the moment, but I hope they will. Such talks will take place after the elections.
Dyankov noted that he did not receive an invitation to participate in the "Glavchev" office. "He was more special. It had to be organized quickly. I don't think that the caretaker government will last long", he added.
I believe that the elections will be specifically determined. There will not be only one way to form a government, as was the case in the previous elections - GERB cannot do without PP-DB and vice versa. I expect that GERB will win with a significant margin. He will have the choice to work with PP-DB or with DPS and ITN. I wish they would work with PP-DB. In recent months, both ITN and DPS have behaved like right-wing parties and there is an alternative, the forecaster Dyankov.
He stressed that he will not participate in the lists for MEPs or people's representatives.
Dyankov was adamant that we will not enter the Eurozone on January 1, 2025. "We will not meet the inflation criterion," he added.
