The National Assembly has finally voted on the changes to the Energy Law, NOVA reported.
The texts envisage postponing the liberalization of the electricity market for domestic consumers by one year.
Initially, the bill provided for the entry into the free electricity market to take place from July 1 of this year. According to the arguments of the importers, our country is not ready for the change. Thus, if the changes are approved in the second reading, liberalization will be a fact from July 1, 2025.
