They extend the period in which the VAT for bread and flour will be 0%. This was decided at a meeting of the budget committee in the parliament.
In the budget, the measure was set to last until June.
The MPs also decided to introduce a limit for bread markups in the commercial network - up to 15%.
According to the chairman of the budget commission Yordan Tsonev, although the proposal is from DPS and GERB, it should not be connected to the political situation. He proposed that all MPs support the text in question and that happened.
