The situation took place in the river Vit near the village of Sadovets. Two boys, aged 16 and 18, were boating down the river when they got caught in an eddy at a weir. Frightened, they drop the boat and grab onto overhanging tree branches to save themselves, added Tsvetkova.

In order to save them, an alpine rescue rope scheme was built. The brothers are unharmed.
The employees of the fire department express special thanks to a local resident of the village, who explained to them what the topography of the bottom of the river is to help them in the rescue operation.
