This was stated by former Minister of Defense Angel Naydenov to NOVA NEWS after the replacement of Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu with Andrey Belousov.
Among him, one of the reasons for this cast is the accumulated dissatisfaction. There may be suspicions of corruption, not of Shoigu himself, but of the system. Recently, the deputy minister of defense, who dealt with the properties in the occupied territories, was detained. As a third hypothesis for this change, the new minister of defense is seen as a person who will more strictly control the money flows related to defense, he explained.
