We will not dwell on their outrages, there is someone to see them. Despite the huge resistance, we managed to make strategic decisions in the parliament," Borisov explained.
Boyko Borisov emphasized that the extremely important road corridor to Vidin will be built. "Here is a future with huge possibilities, along the Danube" and recalled that only a few days ago the President of France Macron shared that the best place he had been to was Varna.
The leader of GERB promised that if they are elected and have a majority, GERB will bring Bulgaria into the Eurozone in one year. According to him, entry into Schengen is also guaranteed.
"Three years ago, we became a showcase for Europe, how the external border of the EU, Schengen, is guarded. Everywhere they gave Bulgaria as an example of zero migration and extreme tolerance towards legal migration. For this, the EC gave us 150 million euros to secure the border. I can make a commitment that if we dominate the administration, we will restore the protection of the external borders again, bring it down to the state of three years ago for zero migration," he promised.
"We have a commitment to our European colleagues not to allow illegal migration. We do our job well, they then have nothing to repair or send back to us. Because in their centers they ask - where did you come from? And if it turns out that there are 5-10 people, and they are returned to us, it is not a problem. It will be a problem if they are 40-50 thousand. The truth is - we are tightening up, guarding the border and no migrants. Fight the sewers - that's what we used to do. And that is precisely why there was less than 2% of cigarette smuggling back then. I will not throw the blame on the colleagues who dealt with this in previous years. I welded the limit to 34% contraband and brought it down to under 2%. We can make a commitment to the Bulgarians that we will finish this too," Borisov pointed out.
"We promise that the funds and the Recovery Plan at a very fast pace, if we have not lost them irretrievably (because a large part of them have already been lost), if there is anything left, we will take it to help the state. This is my brothers and sisters. We will all pay bitterly for these three years. This experiment, and not only their voters, and ours will pay, and everyone. Everyone now understands what a huge mistake they made," he pointed out.
He also commented on the Green Deal, because of which many chemical plants and enterprises have been shut down: "During war - like this heavy war in Ukraine, Israel, Palestine, we have no right to risk Bulgaria's energy mix. That's why we decided for 4 years to give 250 million each to the Marishka Basin, to the "Kozloduy" NPP. To suppress the price of electricity, that's why we also postponed the liberalization of the price of electricity, so that there is no impact on the population".
Boyko Borisov emphasized that it is very important that GERB have more than 80 deputies, so that "new mimicry and new assemblies" are not imposed. We are the most desirable partners at the moment, the strongest, the most systematic," he emphasized. "You know our weaknesses, we try to constantly change, not to repeat old mistakes. He who does not work, he does not sin".
"So, not a word more about PPDB. Because it's a weakness. It's better everyone in their own way. I understand what annoys you. Watching how Peevski and Kiril Petkov practice martial arts and now they make caricatures of you... I find them funny, cool, beloved - just like the last few months.
