An attempt at an armed robbery took place in the town of Shivachevo, bTV said, citing its sources.
Four masked men with weapons tried to break into the town hall building, shooting at the security guard.
The aim was probably to get the money from the ATM.
The security guard was not injured, there were no casualties, he was questioned by the police, inspections are being carried out on the spot.
It is yet to be determined whether the shooting was with a combat or gas pistol.
