The deadline for registration of sociological agencies for polls on the election day expires

Today is the deadline for registration of the sociological agencies that will conduct surveys “at the exit“ (exit-poll) on election day on June 9. This is indicated in the chronogram of the Central Election Commission (CEC), BTA reported.

Sociological agencies must submit to the CEC an application form for registration of an agency that will conduct a sociological survey on election day; a certificate of current legal status issued no earlier than April 9, 2024. Agencies must submit a list containing the names and social security number of pollsters by electoral district. The list indicates the numbers of the polling stations outside which the survey will take place.

The results of polls conducted on election day (exit-poll) are announced no earlier than 8:00 p.m. on election day.

Public announcement of any results of polls conducted on election day (exit-poll) before its conclusion and announcement of the end of election day by the CEC is prohibited in any form.

The results of public opinion polls for the “two in one” they may not be announced in any form 24 hours before election day, as well as until the end of election day is announced on the territory of the country.

Until today, a voter against whom incompleteness and errors have been made in the voter list can submit an application for their removal to the municipal administration. Also, a citizen of another member state of the European Union, who is entered in the voter list, can be deleted upon his written application to the mayor of the municipality/district/city hall or the mayor's deputy. Until today, the parties and coalitions, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs or a deputy minister authorized by him, can make proposals to replace a member of the SIC proposed by them from outside the country.
