The Commission for Energy and Water Regulation will hold a public discussion on electricity and heating prices from July, BNT reported.< /strong>
The energy regulator predicts an increase in the price of electricity by an average of 1.34% and a decrease in the price of hot water and steam by an average of 8.44 percent. Final decisions will be made at the end of the month.
The most serious increase in electricity prices for customers in Western Bulgaria is expected - by 2.74 percent. In Southern Bulgaria, the average increase is 1.46%. In Northeastern Bulgaria, the price of electricity will be reduced by less than 1%. Despite the expected reduction, electricity prices in the region remain the highest for the daily tariff.
KEVR predicts the most serious reduction in the price of steam and hot water in Burgas - on average by 14.09%. For Sofia, the expected reduction is about 7 percent, and for Plovdiv, nearly 8%. The price reduction of heating in Varna - below 4%.
