An anti-record was again detected on the road in our country, bTV reported. A driver was caught with a record 3.17 ppm behind the wheel. The case is from Sliven.
The offender is 44 years old. He was stopped for inspection on June 16, Sunday, around 10:30 p.m. on “Asenovsko Defile“ from patrol to RU-Sliven.
He was tested for alcohol use, carried out on the spot with a technical device. The test showed a positive result, which is far above the permissible level - 3.17 per thousand.
The man was detained for 24 hours. He also gave a blood sample, the police said.
Expedited proceedings have been initiated on the case.
