Hot potato? The National Assembly will not take a position on the case of who should represent Bulgaria at the NATO meeting, announced Tsoncho Ganev - 1

The National Assembly will not take position on the case of who should represent Bulgaria at the NATO Summit in Washington. This was reported by the MP from the "Vazrazhdane" party. Tsoncho Ganev after the chairman's council in the parliament this morning, BNR reported.

At the forum, our country can be represented by either the prime minister or the president. Yesterday, acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev sent a request to the National Assembly about who will represent Bulgaria at the forum, which will be held from July 9 to 11. Tsoncho Ganev explained:

"The position of "Revival" was such - that our president, who is the commander-in-chief anyway, should go and represent Bulgaria, given that we do not have a permanent prime minister. But the DPS were adamant and Peevski spoke out categorically and said that he would not tolerate the president going. From "Majesty" supported this thing and said that in the end it was up to them and the current prime minister to go. Of course, the PP-DB said exactly the same and stood behind the DPS. The deceived people should know that once again they will face and have given trust to people who do not fulfill their commitments".

From "Revival" also announced that they submitted proposals for changes to the Electoral Code:

"Ultimately, at the moment, the second force in Bulgaria is the DPS, and no wonder with the low turnout in the next elections, the DPS governs Bulgaria, and that is why we want the old position to return, when the sections abroad are limited and something more - we are preparing and these days we will introduce a bill that would regulate the possibility of deregistration of people who are registered at certain addresses only before elections and situations in which, say, 3,000 people are registered at one substation or at one levels there are countless people. This is also part of the process that leads to elections. They do not concern whether there will be elections soon or whether we will have a full mandate of a Euro-Atlantic government".
