Full support for the course taken towards the unification of the left people received the new leadership of the BSP from the chairmen of the regional councils of the party.

Acting chairman Atanas Zafirov, organizational secretary and chairman of the PG Borislav Gutsanov and vice-chairmen Christian Vigenin, Irena Anastasova and Vladimir Moskov discussed with them on
working meeting, the current political situation in the country, as well as the beginning of the full reporting-election cycle and the situation in the BSP, after the last plenary session and the decisions taken at it.

The new leadership of the Socialists presented their plan to create a broad left-wing unity, which the country needs.

At the meeting, it was emphasized how important it is to reduce the tension between the country's institutions as part of the search for a way out of the political crisis.

The working meeting was held immediately after the consultations that the BSP held with President Rumen Radev in connection with the search for a formula for a new government.

„We must work for the formation of a reasonable pro-Bulgarian executive power,” emphasized once again I.F. Chairman of the BSP Atanas Zafirov. For his part, the chairman of the parliamentary group of the BSP Borislav Gutsanov added that it is necessary to work for an expert cabinet of national salvation with the third mandate.

The regional structures of the BSP agreed with the leadership that the elections are not a good option for the country at the moment, although the socialists are ready for them. The chairmen of the regional councils of Pleven and Blagoevgrad expressed regret that they will not have representatives in the parliament despite the mandates won.

The new leadership has committed to constant dialogue with the people in the localities and joint decision-making.
