The parliamentary group of the DPS has decided to exclude from its composition the deputy and deputy chairman of the DPS Aysel Rufad. This was understood from a message read by the Speaker of the National Assembly Raya Nazaryan. Rufad is an MP for the first time, having entered as such from the Shumen electoral district, "Dnevnik" reported.
The decision to exclude her comes shortly after Filiz Huysmenova left the parliament of her own accord.
It is defined as "old shot" of Ahmed Dogan and as an activist of DPS. She was the permanent deputy mayor of the municipality of Novi Pazar from 2007 until the parliamentary elections at the beginning of summer.
In 2016, Rufad was elected chairman of the regional structure of the DPS. At the last national conference of the DPS, she was elevated to the position of deputy chairman of the party and in this capacity was responsible for the vote of expatriates in Turkey in the parliamentary elections.
Precisely because of the movement's low score abroad, analysts close to the movement expected it to receive some kind of punishment.
The probable reasons for the removal of activists of the movement are two - that they are Ahmed Dogan cadres and that they did not perform as well as expected in the last elections;
