Petyo Bluskov: Dogan has a halo that can hardly be extinguished. Peevski will perhaps create his own project - 1

Political upheavals in the country do not stop. The president announced that he would hand over the mandate to the PP-DB next week, and Delyan Peevski's cronies said they were ready to leave. Dogan's confidants thanked the party structures in the country for their support.

"The political situation has improved a little lately. In the DPS there was an attempt by Delyan Peevski to expand his power and in fact in the field of two leaders who are old guns in the political scene - Dogan and Borisov. Regarding Dogan - to take the party power, although Dogan once already showed him a yellow card by making him co-chairman. And with regard to Borisov, the PP-DB testified that at the time of the meeting, the opinion of Delyan Peevski weighed to some extent the most", commented the media expert Prof. Georgi Lozanov in the studio of the show "The Day ON AIR".
According to him, the events of the last few days show that in our democratic country there are some limits to what kind of power one person can acquire, and noted that the political scene is awaiting transformations.

"What they will be and whether they will be in favor of making the dialogue inside the parliament easier, we will see yet. Something is happening here - when the leaders start clashes with each other, a lot of shameful secrets come to light", Prof. Lozanov also said.
According to him, a certain political cleansing will take place in Bulgaria.

"It is too early to speculate where things will go. There cannot be two DPS, for obvious reasons. The very genesis of the movement implies unity, there is no way to turn it into another DPS. Perhaps Peevski will create some project of his own, there are some signals in this direction. To what extent this project will be connected electorally with the people who have so far recognized DPS as their party, we cannot guess," journalist Petyo Blaskov told Bulgaria ON AIR.
He recalled that over the years many people tried to take over the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, but it was always unsuccessful.

"Now the approach is different. Peevski has a lot more energy around him and in himself than in previous attempts, but anyway they have an electorate of 350-400 thousand people maximum. From this electorate, to divide them into two - it will be difficult. Still, Dogan has a halo that can hardly be extinguished, Bluskov believes.

Both commentators noted the role of the PP-DB in the political scene at the moment. According to Prof. Lozanov, they are the democratic face of Bulgaria, despite their internal party problems. However, according to Bluskov, such a large role should not be given to the coalition.
