How far will the political turmoil in DPS go and will we go to elections again? On the air of “Hello, Bulgaria” political scientists Lyubomir Stefanov and Kancho Stoychev, sociologist Irena Todorova and journalist Emilia Milcheva commented on the topic.
“There are skeletons piled up in the closet with a 35-year history. If Peevski decides to emancipate himself, the question is how ready he is to enter into a head-on clash with Dogan. It seems that it is not a time for separation, but a time for counting. We need to "we will find out who will hold the DPS brand and at what price," Lyubomir Stefanov believes.
According to Milcheva, many compromising materials will come out after this battle.
„To a large extent, we are observing Peevski's inability to be a real politician. I think he will lose the battle with Dogan. This is a classic clash of the old and the new. I think it is not the Prosecutor's Office that will deal with Peevski, but Radev, Borisov and Dogan," says Irena Todorova.
„For Bulgarians, it is not news that a politician has lied or stolen. People no longer care. The key to the shed is in Borisov's hands. GERB is in a strong position to decide whether to have elections,” commented Kancho Stoychev.
