The big fire near Stara Zagora is about to be brought under control, acted Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev assured , who arrived in the area of the disaster, reports BNT.
The Prime Minister pointed out that at the moment the rest of the fiery elements raging in the country have been brought under control.
"The outbreaks are changing, at the moment everything is under control, except here, but it is calm here too. I don't think the situation is critical. The situation is yet to be brought under control here. People should be calm, we are taking measures in time", said Glavchev.
From today, by order of the Prime Minister, an interdepartmental headquarters has begun to work to coordinate the work on dealing with forest fires. It includes representatives of the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Next week, the prime minister will meet with the mayors of the affected areas to see what kind of help they need after the disaster.
