< strong>During yesterday we held meetings with the other parliamentary groups. It became clear that there was no support for our approach – first anti-corruption laws, then talk of government. This puts us in a situation where we cannot realize the second mandate. For this reason, the moment the president invites us, we should go and return it unfulfilled. PP-DB MP Bozhidar Bojanov stated this, quoted by Nova TV.
Kiril Petkov thanked Rumen Radev for the opportunity to hold the talks and “to test whether the 50th National Assembly has the will to deal with corruption and addictions”. He indicated that they will not abuse the time and are ready to return the mandate at the first convenient moment for the president.
Regarding the third mandate, Nikolay Denkov said: “There is no point in discussing what will happen in a hypothetical situation. Let's see who will be its bearer, what the proposal will be and then we will decide.“
