Ivaylo Mirchev: There is no way a miracle will happen tomorrow

We are going to elections, but these will be very important elections this time as well. People should go vote. Otherwise, we will go to elections for the eighth time and things will get even worse - not only will we have "Revival" and "Greatness" in the parliament, but we may have some revivalist "Greatness"

Ivaylo Mirchev: There is no way a miracle will happen tomorrow - 1

Tomorrow at 11 o'clock the president hands over the second exploratory mandate to form a government. He will go to "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria". “We will get the mandate from the president and return it – as we have already stated. We did not receive support for our proposal for anti-corruption policies and the declaration we proposed in the National Assembly. PP-DB MP Ivaylo Mirchev commented on this on bTV.

He pointed out that there is no way a miracle will happen tomorrow.

„Miracles sometimes happen, and maybe we need a miracle for Bulgaria, because we will go to elections for the seventh time and this is not good for the country. Not just because of another 100 million leva and because of the 700 million leva in total that have been spent in the last three years. We now have to give a management formula. "After these elections, the probability that something radically different will happen is not that great," said Ivaylo Mirchev.

„It is time for this country to be truly governed, to achieve the goals – to enter the Eurozone, to enter Schengen, to adopt anti-corruption legislation and to complete our judicial reform. Unfortunately, there is no will in all political forces. This is the reason we will return the mandate tomorrow. A recovery plan is extremely important – 10 billion BGN are allocated there, which are intended for Bulgaria, and we say we don't want it,”, he also commented.

„The goal of the PP-DB was to propose to the political forces before forming a government, to adopt the anti-corruption laws in 2-3 months, to show the public that we have the will, to do some work and then sit down to we think of government. Unfortunately, this was not accepted and tomorrow we return the mandate”, pointed out Ivaylo Mirchev.

„7 elections in 3 years have not been held anywhere in the world, including in Africa. We are world record holders in this regard. The rotation failed because Peevski - and through his influence in GERB, did not want to accept exactly these legislative changes: the law on judicial power, the election of regulators, added the MP from PP-DB.

According to Ivaylo Mirchev, to whom the third term should be given is entirely the president's decision.

However, the deputy from PP-DB stated that he is pessimistic about its realization and we should rather prepare for elections.

"What to do with the third term, if it did not happen with the second? So we are going to an election, but it will be a very important election this time too. People should go vote. Otherwise, we will go to elections for the eighth time and things will get even worse - not only will we have a "Revival" and "Majesty" in the parliament, and we may have some revivalist "Majesty". We need to propose a management formula. One cannot expect another messiah", commented Ivaylo Mirchev.
