We must return to the roots of democracy. The first, second and third - this is stable management. You cannot manage 240 people's representatives with 18-20 deputies. This was stated by GERB leader Boyko Borisov to journalists in the parliament.
"I see nothing wrong with two institutions rejecting or accepting one application. This is not a scandal, but a dispute. Nikolay Nenchev was my Minister of Defense, so after he was Minister of Defense for 4 years, I think his candidacy is good. The decision of the presidency is another matter."

"I have always been opposed to Parliament turning from a law-making body into an investigative body - it is not like that. I have always been against judicial institutions being used as arbitrators by dissatisfied political parties," he commented, quoted by novini.bg.
"In recent years, politicians have made people split - they have become fans of campaigners and enemies. That's why the course that GERB has taken is towards upgrading the policies," Borisov added.
"In the upcoming elections, everyone must humble themselves. In 4 years, everything bad was said. That is why I forbade GERB to attack any party in the campaign. People should hear what we are proposing and come out and vote after that," the GERB leader revealed.
"All parties should learn a lesson. Let some accuse me of "softness or soft warmth". And I think that shared responsibility should become a basic principle of thinking among politicians. We treat all our partners with respect, without exception. The question is to find out with whom we will talk", said Boyko Borisov.

And the first thing they ask is whether the gross domestic product rule is followed.
