Denkov: Peevski uses a clumsy method to cover up the problems in the DPS

The accusations I have seen against Petya Bankova are not for corruption. And for moving people to different positions – it's part of her job description. This is how Nikolay Denkov from the PP–DB commented to journalists the report submitted earlier today by Delyan Peevski to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor's Office and the State Security Service regarding the activities of the Temporary Commission of the 49th National Assembly to investigate corruption practices in the “Customs” Agency. and the possible role of former finance minister Asen Vassilev in them.

“Peevski sent one report every 3 months to all possible institutions. It's an extremely clumsy method of trying to cover up the problems they have in DPS – discord, scandals and division. In the second place, he was summoned for a hearing in the Commission on the Notary and the Eight Dwarfs, he added.

Denkov recalled that Asen Vassilev appeared before the Commission for the “Customs” and has answered all questions. According to him, Asen Vassilev has nothing to hide and nothing to worry about.

And he summarized that Peevski is trying to divert attention from his real problem and called on him to appear before the committee and present his version.
