< strong>We adopted three separate decisions to compensate for what is happening as a result of the fires in Bulgaria, acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev said after the government meeting, quoted by BNT.
"The first is a program to compensate the costs of natural persons as a result of the fires. It foresees higher aid than the one they receive from the Ministry of Social Affairs - the 1,578 BGN in question for urgent expenses and 2,500 BGN for equipment and furniture. If claimants' damages exceed these amounts, this program is scheduled to kick in. The action of this program will also cover persons who have suffered damage, but are not registered as farmers", the Prime Minister explained.
The second decision is related to the provision of BGN 1 million to the Ministry of Defense, with which they will be equipped with the so-called "water pockets" since the "Cougar" helicopters. The acting Prime Minister recalled that this possibility was also discussed at the Security Council held at the Council of Ministers.
"The latest decision concerns the Ministry of the Interior and the necessary funds in connection with the provision of equipment, repairs, fuels and everything related to the fires", the Prime Minister also said.
