The chairman of the DPS parliamentary group, Delyan Peevski, appeared at the meeting of the temporary parliamentary committee to establish all the facts and circumstances for the group around Martin Bojanov-Notarius and Pepi Euroto. Peevski even demanded that the former president of the Supreme Court of Cassation (SCC) Lozan Panov and Hristo Ivanov be heard about addictions in the judicial system.
"How many meetings did Hristo Ivanov have with the chief prosecutor, did he propose deputy chief prosecutors, did he want to control the judicial system and how many meetings did PP-DB have with the chief prosecutor. He will not allow the people who rule the court and the prosecutor's office to involve me in all these things," Peevski threatened.
Chairman of the temporary commission and deputy from PP-DB Nadezhda Yordanova stated that Peevski made a statement contrary to the agenda of the temporary commission. Lena Borislavova from the PP-DB asked that there be no meetings of the committee if there is no pre-approved agenda.
In turn, Hamid Hamid replied to Yordanova: "Peevski's name was unfoundedly mixed up by persons who had come to the previous meeting of the commission (AKF representatives - Andrey Yankulov and Nikolay Staykov - b.r.) not on the topic the notary, but they had come to make suggestions.
"People's representatives are scared by the revelations about "Bulgartabak" and Mr. Cash referring to President Rumen Radev. Otherwise, the chairman of the PG of the DPS believes that a lot of lies have been told about "Bulgartabak".
I watched your previous commission, I was confused by the Anti-Corruption Fund (AKF) and cash parties. I can see they are frightened by the revelations I will make very soon. I requested and submitted to my lawyer through the city prosecutor's office for "Bulgartabak" and KTB", added Peevski.
