The Supreme Administrative Court will sit on the case filed by Andrey Gyurov , because of his removal from the post of deputy governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB).
The court must decide whether to confirm or reject the bank management's decision that there are grounds for Gyurov's release.
On July 16, the Governing Board of the BNB decided to remove Andrey Gyurov from the post of Deputy Governor, bTV recalls.
The decision came after, on June 27, the Anti-Corruption Commission notified the BNB of a decision with which it found incompatibility with regard to Andrey Gyurov due to his participation as a partner in a limited liability company, as well as in the management bodies of other two associations.
This incompatibility is justified, with his “participation as a partner in “Yontech Engineering” Ltd., as well as in connection with his activities as a member of the governing body of non-profit legal entities: Association “Balkanski – Panitsa Institute for Scientific Research“ and "Golf Club Blagoevgrad" Association, without a decision of the Management Board of the BNB.
