First meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council after the decision of the Constitutional Court, with which the body returns to its old form - plenum and two collegiums.
The meeting was convened by the Minister of Justice, Maria Pavlova, specified "Nova Televzia". There is an item on the agenda for the election of a representative of the SJC. Boyan Magdalinchev, who held the position until the SJC split into two councils in December last year, is expected to take up the post again.
There are two other main questions before the Supreme Judicial Council - will it resume the procedure for the election of the chief prosecutor and will it start one for the election of the president of the Supreme Administrative Court, since the mandate of Georgi Cholakov expires in November.
