Viktoria Vasileva creates a new party. It will be called “It makes sense” and this time Vasileva herself will be at the helm. The decision on the new formation was made at a general meeting of the initiative committee on August 16.

Vassileva's new party is expected to participate in early parliamentary elections in the fall.

There will be neither Markov nor Mihailov in Vasileva's new formation, sources say. However, it is expected that some of the current MPs of Velichie, who left the ideologue Mihailov, will enter. The owner of the “Historical Park” near Vetrino also announced that this time he will fight for deputy, after the surprising breakthrough of “Majesty” he was not in the lists.

In the founding statement of “It Makes Sense” it is on record that it will work to overcome electoral apathy and uphold the rule of law through effective anti-corruption, quality legislation and a fair and speedy judicial process. It is explained that the mission should not be confused with messianism, saviors should not be trusted.

Among other main goals are the transformation of health care from trade to care, security in everyone's daily life, prevention of foreign influence on political and public life, which is contrary to national interests, ensuring the “integrity and unity of the Bulgarian family and society”. And the fight against the demographic crisis includes economic stability, incentives for families and “creating meaning for the continuation of the family”.

Vassileva's people also promise measures to protect small businesses and independent professions through administrative and tax facilitation and flexible forms of employment. The founding declaration also stipulates that EU and NATO policies should be followed, but with clear national priorities formulated and Bulgaria's active participation in decision-making and in the work of the two unions.

Viktoria Vasileva has proven her organizational experience over the years.

During the time of Ivan Kostov, she was the leader of the youth SDS and an MP from the Blues in the 38th National Assembly. In 2015-2016, he was the main organizer of the Slavi Trifonov referendum. After that, he took up the construction of the party's structures and became the general secretary of “There is such a people”, writes "24 hours".

After the formation entered the 45th National Assembly, Vasileva was the deputy speaker of the parliament in the two short terms. In the 47th NA, after Slavi Trifonov withdrew his ministers from Kiril Petkov's government (which led to his downfall), in July 2022 Vasileva left the group.
