There is no problem with the machines, there is no problem with the software problem, these are the best machines and the best software in the world. Similar machines and software have been proven to be used in the richest countries, such as the United States. There are minor issues that have arisen since we stopped supplying the paper rolls. Up to 1% of machines give problems, but it's ok to fix them, I'm a perfectionist. The last time we supplied the paper, there were two machines out of over 10,000, which is one hundred percent. So a 50x increase in problems is an indication that there is a problem with the paper.

This is what the director of "Siela Norma" said. Veselin Todorov in the studio of "The Day ON AIR".

According to him, the paper they supplied was 3.5 times cheaper.

"We need to look for a solution to the problem, not discuss whether solar flares or something else has an effect. The machines are the property of CEC and have not been modified, the software is the property of CEC and in this part has never been modified. We make the application that is used to vote, we do not create new operating systems, we do not produce new printers," added Todorov for Bulgaria ON AIR.

He is of the opinion that even one manufacturer cannot produce the same paper.

"The paper the first 2 times had the wrong diameter of the roll - twice as big, this creates some vibrations that when pulling the paper, it does not go evenly, but collects, then stretches back. Now the diameter is correct, except that this spool is made of a very plastic material, it deforms and the rollers are not round. It's not bad to give it to a global laboratory, Bulgaria is not a paper producer", emphasized the director of "Siela Norma".

According to him, Bulgarian laboratories do not have extensive experience.

"Preferably a lab from Taiwan, because that's where the printers are made. They can really judge whether that paper matches the printers specifications. With this paper, we hold elections 3 times and the number of problem machines increases, first there were 60, and in the second vote - 100. The problem is that the printers themselves begin to break down over time, and the manufacturer of the printers sent a letter to the CEC, in which stated that it will not maintain a warranty for the printers because they are not fed with the correct paper", explained Veselin Todorov.

And the software will not be upgraded.

When asked why people don't trust the machines, he replied: "I have a feeling that most parties want trust to fall, they don't particularly trust paper ballots. I don't believe anyone is saying that everything is perfect there. There is no objective reason for this mistrust. Machines are so much more reliable than paper that it can't even compare".
