The Official Minister of Minister of Internal Affairs Atanas Ilkov will open the 30th anniversary edition of the National Competition “Road Policeman of the Year - 2024”, the Ministry of the Interior announced, quoted by BTA.
The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. at "April 20" square. in Panagyurishte.
Representative teams from the “Traffic Police” from all regional directorates of the Ministry of the Interior.
Organizers of the event are the Main Directorate “National Police” with the assistance of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Pazardzhik, the Bulgarian Red Cross and the Union of Bulgarian Motorists, with the assistance of the Panagyurishte Municipality.
The winner of the "Traffic Policeman of the Year" for 2023 was Mario Markov, junior car inspector in the “Traffic Police“ at the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Gabrovo.
