Deputies in the Law Commission in the National Assembly will consider the veto of President Rumen Radev on a part of the Law on Advocacy, NOVA reported.
The new texts allowed lawyers to advertise their activities while respecting the law and their code of ethics. With the changes, the court was obliged to determine the official lawyers in the trial, as well as the amount of their remuneration.
In the reasons for his veto, the head of state writes that some of the texts give rise to certain objections.
In the parliament, a reaction came from the DPS with a call for the veto to be overcome at the very first meeting this week. Lawyers across the country have announced their readiness to stage mass protests.
