The Committee on Foreign Policy adopted a declaration against the insulting statements of the RSM towards Bulgaria - 1

The MPs, members of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament, prepared a joint statement against the systematic and methodical destruction of the dialogue between the RSM and the Republic Bulgaria and provocative and insulting statements towards Bulgaria by the ruling political factors in the Republic of North Macedonia, a reporter of "Focus" handed over.

The chairman of the commission, Boyko Borisov, convened the meeting at which the text of the declaration was prepared. The original form was suggested by "Revival".

Borisov announced to the media: "After the discussions on both the preamble and the points in the declaration, we found an absolute consensus. Colleagues from "Revival" they gave up the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh points, we made corrections in the preamble, and points one, two and three absolutely coincide with the Good Neighbor Treaty and with our strategic plans in the European Union".

The declaration was adopted unanimously with 14 votes. Borisov thanked all parties for the consensus reached.

"The most important thing we give is that the Bulgarian politicians, the Bulgarian state, all the parties are united when it comes to good neighborliness between the two countries. Anyone who violates it should bear their own responsibility," said Borisov.

In front of the media, Toshko Yordanov stated that there were no disputes in the commission about the texts in the document. He noted that "Bulgarian interest prevailed".

Angel Georgiev from "Vazrazhdane" stated that the adopted declaration was maximally consensual. He said that, compared to the original appearance, they were made "cosmetic" redactions. According to Georgiev, the texts will protect Bulgarian interests.
