The head of the drone unit of “Hezbollah” Mohammed Srour was killed in an Israeli strike in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Lebanese Shiite movement confirmed in a statement, as quoted by AFP.

A few hours earlier, the Israeli army announced that it had killed the head of Hezbollah's drone unit.
„Fighters attacked and killed the commander of the air unit of "Hezbollah" in Beirut”, the Israeli army said in a statement.
According to a source close to the Lebanese group, Mohammed Srour, a mathematician by training, was one of the movement's top commanders sent to Yemen to train the Houthi rebels, who are also backed by Iran.
