The mayor of Pernik, Stanislav Vladimirov, signaled on social networks about the pollution of the Struma river.
"The Struma River was poisoned that night. There is no country! I alerted the Minister of Environment and Water immediately, they will do NOTHING tonight. Possibly tomorrow.
There is no government institution to measure what flows in the river. And nobody in Sofia cares!", he writes.
