The Ministry of Electronic Government (MEG) announced yesterday that the process of certifying the compliance of the machines for the upcoming early parliamentary elections on October 27 has begun.
The technical devices were received at the MEU on September 30. The first step in the work of the ministry's teams is to check the assets provided by the Central Election Commission for the purposes of authentication.
The certification of the election machines takes place under the supervision of experts from the State Agency “National Security”.
The Ministry of e-Governance invites registered parties, non-governmental organizations and others, according to the provisions of the Election Code, to participate in the process.
Authentication of the technical voting devices will be carried out in a secure environment, in the building at the MEU, where a new camera has been installed that will broadcast a picture and sound in real time.
