125 million BGN, the rest of the so-called Farmers will receive the "Ukrainian aid" until the end of November. During the week, the branch received this assurance from Finance Minister Lyudmila Petkova. After the meeting, the farmers canceled the protest readiness.

However, it turns out that they are not entirely satisfied with the industry. According to the chairman of the Dobrudja Union of Grain Producers, Radostina Zhekova, the National Assembly is to blame for the situation: "What was signed in February was not for several tranches of the second tranche, but we must be clear about who is to blame for the situation. in which we found ourselves, and this is the National Assembly, which does not vote to update the budget. Already in February we knew that such an update had to be voted on if we wanted this tranche to be paid. After all, it was also a decision of the cabinet at the time.

The farmers will use the 200 million BGN already received to plug holes: "Just as there is a huge hole in the state budget, so there is a huge hole in the budgets of every single farmer. It is because of the income we have this year and the low yields. We will attempt to pay accrued liabilities to our suppliers for the previous business year. We are far from the moment when we will stand on our feet purely financially. It is difficult that these funds will reach the next 125 million".

"If the rest of the "Ukrainian aid" not be paid as agreed – by the end of November, the farmers will protest again", warned Radostina Zhekova.

"I hope they will be paid on time, because in November the tractors will be taken out very easily. That is, the people who represent the state must learn that when you undertake an obligation to a sector, it must be fulfilled – without abusing patience and the impossibility that this sector has fallen into".

The state of the agricultural sector at the moment is extremely difficult, Radostina Zhekova also commented. Legislative changes, long-termism and predictability are needed, added the chairman of the Dobrudja Union of Grain Producers.
