A complete ban on the movement of cars in a large part of the center of Sofia on Sunday. The reason is the biggest sports event in the capital - “Sofia Marathon 2024”.
The start-finish remains in the traditional place – “Knyaz Alexander I” square at 09.30.
There will be a complete ban on the movement of cars from 07:00 until the end of the event around 16:00. The “Chavdar” bridge will be closed. to the east, almost the entire central part of the city, as well as the boulevards “Todor Aleksandrov” and “Tsarita Joanna", reaching the district of “Lyulin”. Private cars parked along the marathon route may be forcibly moved.
