We do not compromise with corruption. Where we doubted, we immediately parted with the people. We did not understand why Gvozdeikov remained in the caretaker government. I don't know if it's because of corruption. The moment he made that decision, we split for a second. This is what the co-chairman of PP-DB Kiril Petkov said in “On focus“.
„For the sake of governance, we are not ready to lose any more. In the name of Bulgaria moving forward, in the way we believe – yes“, he pointed out. And he added that “there is no chance” from PP-DB to be in management with Delyan Peevski.
„ Dogan has a huge sin against the state. The fact that we have Peevski today is because we had Dogan before”, the PP-DB co-chairman also said.
He was adamant that an equally remote prime minister was the only option to govern after the upcoming election. And he emphasized that they do not want him to be offered by PP-DB, but they must be sure that he cannot be bought. Petkov refused to name names.
He stated that it is not normal in one country for a person to have two immunities – for deputy and candidate for deputy.
The co-chairman of PP-DB said that in the last three years they have increased the average salary by more than 50%, pensions by more than 100%, our economy is developing faster than many European countries.
