A police car caught fire while driving yesterday afternoon in Ruse, BNT reported.
The incident took place on "Metropolitan Grigoriy" near the school and the dormitories of the University of Ruse.
The car was occupied by employees of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Ruse, who managed to leave the burning car and were unharmed.
The entire front part of the car was burnt to the ground. Two patrol cars and a fire brigade team were sent to the scene to put out the burning car.
Witnesses to the incident said they heard a loud explosion that startled people in the area. Because of the incident, traffic was temporarily stopped for vehicles.
