„When everyone says that prices are rising, prices start to rise. Well, it's about time we all said that incomes have to grow to start growing. This is what I am calling on all working people," Lyuboslav Kostov from KNSB said on the air of bTV.
He emphasized that raising the minimum wage stimulates both consumption and employment, and this proves that it should continue.
Kostov also commented on the tax policy, stating that the flat tax has exhausted its possibilities. “Neither business improved, nor did investments increase,” commented the economist. He also said that he does not know why Bulgaria is not attracting investments, and perhaps business should answer this question.
Lyuboslav Kostov also announced the abolition of the tax relief for restaurants and bread producers, which has not resulted.
