The District Court in Dupnitsa sends for the second time to the Supreme Court of Cassation ( VKS) the case in which the mayor of the municipality of Parvan Dangov is accused, to determine another court of the same degree in which the same case will be heard. The acting head of the Regional Office in the city, senior inspector Yordan Zarev, was injured.

Proceedings were initiated based on an indictment filed by the District Prosecutor's Office in Kyustendil, and the threats were made by the mayor over the phone in March with the words: "If you want war, there will be war. I will ruin both you and your family!".
All judges from the Criminal and Civil Divisions of the District Court in Dupnitsa, after being designated as rapporteurs through the random allocation system, recused themselves or recused themselves in this case.
The judicial panels state in their rulings on the dismissal of the case: "the defendant holds the position of mayor of the municipality of Dupnitsa, and the injured person is the head of the RU - Dupnitsa, whom the judge has known for many years, although he does not maintain contacts (except official) with them".
In order not to raise any doubts about the impartiality of the court, the current judge-rapporteur should recuse himself from hearing the case.
