The Consumer Protection Commission starts surprise checks on markets in various cities, aimed at trade control, NOVA reported.
The main focus is the accuracy of scales, price tags and whether traders comply with the requirements for declaring the origin and quality of the goods.
The Commission also monitors misleading advertising and speculative price increases.
