Maria Kamenova before FACTS: I believe that after the vote BSP will be an insurmountable factor in the next National Ass - 1

"BSP - United Left" actively participates in the election campaign, but what can we expect from them… The election is on Sunday – October 27, and then… Maria Kamenova, who is the leader of the leaves in Montana, speaks to FACTS.

- Mrs. Kamenova, what happened to "BSP - United Left"? in the election campaign? What did you say differently?
- During the election campaign, the BSP held a lot of meetings with different groups of people, so the campaign was extremely pretentious. And this is exactly what makes us expect a very good result of the elections. What we said differently is that we gave people hope that the left is alive, that the left will have representation in the next National Assembly. Let it not sound far fetched but we have given people real solutions to their problems.

- "BSP – United Left" offers 100 solutions for various areas of public life and economy. It's one thing on paper, but how many are feasible?
- In "BSP – United Left" we have brought together people with different expertise. So we have prepared these 100 solutions extremely well and they are fully fulfilled. In every sphere of public life we have given solutions to people's problems. Look, BSP has proven that it can be part of the government, be part of a successful government. Everything we have written on paper is completely doable.

- How to find work in the region you are from. What does BSP offer young people?
- I would say that it is extremely difficult to find a job. I say this from personal experience, but we have a program for convergence in the regions of the country. We have as an idea the creation of a guarantee fund for Northwestern Bulgaria, which would give a financial injection to this backward region. These, of course, are only part of the measures that we envisage so that young people can find their way to realization in the field.

- There is a lot of comment on the fact that people do not want to see the old faces at the head of the left and give way to the young. Are you part of this new thing in the BSP, which belongs to the young…
- I am 32 years old and I am part of the young. But one must know that a person needs someone to give him a hand, to see the example to be followed. So in BSP we are all one, we are together and we are united. And so we are going in the right direction.

- What are the main problems of the residents of Lom and Montana…
- The problems of the entire area are extremely numerous. They start with the demographic crisis, the infrastructure, and we also go to health care, education. But, look, we have discussed these things with the people of the North-West. Together with them we have discussed them, we have pointed out the most pressing problems and most importantly - we have given them solutions to their questions.

- Many parties are expected to enter the parliament. Will there be a regular office, or will we continue to go with office offices…
- What exactly will happen will be shown by the elections on Sunday. No, I'm not in the business of predicting. I believe there will be surprises. And one of them will be the high percentage of BSP. I believe that after the vote the BSP will be in such a place that it will be an insurmountable factor in the next National Assembly.
