Maya Manolova proposes active registration and regional counting centers - 1

The leader of Get Up.BG Maya Manolova, part of the coalition of left forces in the BSP – UNITED LEFT, will propose to MPs from the United Left amendments to the Electoral Code for active registration and regional census centers, it is clear from its publication on social networks. Proposed changes include:

„Creation of regional census centers where, with the participation of all parties, external observers, experts and media, ballot boxes are publicly opened and the census is carried out. This will cut off the possibility of replacing the citizens' vote and will make buying members and entire electoral commissions meaningless.

Clearing the electoral rolls by introducing active registration. We propose that all those who voted in the last election be initially included in the voter lists and that other citizens be included to vote in the elections. Thus, dead souls will permanently leave the electoral rolls.

Criminal liability for electoral crimes.“

From Stand up. BG of Maya Manolova will insist on the BSP parliamentary group – UNITED LEFT to support an appeal to the Constitutional Court requesting a recount of all ballots – paper and machine, starting with the sections with established election violations, as well as in those without video surveillance (over 280), it is clear from Manolova's position.

As a reason for this, she points out that on the fifth day after the end of the elections, information continues to emerge about "flagrant electoral violations and crimes against the political rights of citizens: substitution of citizens' votes, theft of votes, falsification of protocols, vote tallying, bought, controlled and forced vote.“
Thus, according to Maya Manolova, citizens feel a complete replacement of the vote.
