On the occasion of Archangel Stump the Metropolitan the municipality is organizing additional public transport today, the press center of the Municipality announced, BTA reported.

Temporary tram line No. 3A with route "Sugar Factory" station is being opened. – quarter “Orlandovtsi“.

The officers on duty from the “Traffic Police” at the Metropolitan Directorate of Internal Affairs (SDVR) will direct citizens' cars to park around the cemetery complexes, adds the Metropolitan Municipality.

The Bulgarian Patriarch and Metropolitan Daniil of Sofia will hold a memorial service for the Sturgeon of Archangels in the Military Ossuary Museum of the Central Sofia Cemetery from 11:00 a.m., BTA reported.

The ceremony will be attended by President Rumen Radev, Acting Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov, Chief of Defense Admiral Emil Eftimov, senior officers of the Bulgarian Army, announced the press office of the head of state and the press center of the Ministry of Defense (MoD).

On St. Archangel's Day, the Bulgarian Orthodox Church honors the memory of the fallen Bulgarian soldiers.

Rituals will also take place in the garrisons throughout the country, adds the Ministry of War. They will be attended by servicemen from the National Guard, the Ground Forces, the Air Force and the Navy, the Joint Special Operations Command, the Logistics Support Command, and cadets from the Vasil Levski National Military University.

A Bulgarian delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Defense Radostin Iliev participated on November 1 and 2 in the commemoration of St. Archangel's Stew in the Republic of North Macedonia. As a sign of appreciation, flowers will be laid in front of the monument to the 193 Bulgarian officers and soldiers in the area of the village of Drenovo, Kavadartsi municipality, in front of the memorial plaque of the fallen Bulgarian officers and soldiers in the Bulgarian-German military cemetery in the city of Prilep and in front of the monument to the fallen Bulgarian officers and soldiers in the courtyard of the church in Berantsi village, Bitola municipality. There will also be a commemorative ceremony at the Bulgarian military cemetery in the village of Tsapari, Bitola municipality, where wreaths will be laid on behalf of the Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov and the Chief of Defense Admiral Emil Eftimov.

On November 2, for the second year in a row, Archangel Sturgeon will be celebrated with a military ritual and a memorial service at the international military cemetery “Mirca cel Butrun” near the village of Mircea Voda, Constanta County in Romania. The mortal remains of more than 5,000 soldiers from four national armies - of Romania, Germany, Russia and Bulgaria, who died on the Dobruja front during the First World War - are laid there. The cemetery is one of the largest outside the territory of Bulgaria in terms of the number of Bulgarian soldiers buried in it – about 200, whose tombstones are set aside in a special sector, adds the Ministry of Defense.
