The crises require a number of structural solutions and reforms, which is why all together with general efforts we must try to point out these reforms to help them see the light of day and to be able to move forward purely structurally. This was said by the Deputy Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB), Petar Chobanov, in a speech during the opening of the Euro Week initiative and the Tenth Annual Monetary and Economic Scientific Conference, which is being held at the University of National and World Economy (UNWS).
The forum is supported by a number of institutions, including the BNB, the Ministry of Finance, the Association of Banks in Bulgaria and others. According to Chobanov, the Euro Week initiative is an important event that is a natural continuation of the work of the Coordination Council for the Preparation of the Republic of Bulgaria for Eurozone Membership, which is co-chaired by the Governor of the BNB and the Minister of Finance.
Chobanov announced to the audience that in the middle of this week a memorandum will be signed between BNB and UNSS, adding that it is no coincidence that the event is being held at the capital's higher education institution, where urgent topics and challenges can be discussed in an academic manner.< /p>
"Whenever there are challenges, the most important thing is how we manage these challenges to move forward, so that we can outline a path, a perspective for development, which in the current situation is not very easy, but this is not means that we should not try to make a contribution in such a perspective with joint efforts", Chobanov said. According to him, it is not by chance that we are now talking about digital transformation and recovery from the crisis.
