For another year and on the occasion of the Day of the Christian Family, priests, together with their relatives, will donate blood for patients in need. The campaign will be held on November 20 from 1 to 5 pm at the Blood Center of the Military Medical Academy (MMA).
With the blessing of His Holiness Daniil, Patriarch of Bulgaria and Metropolitan of Sofia, priests from the Sofia Metropolis will join the initiative “Be one of us! Donate blood – save a life!”.
Promoting free blood donation is one of the missions of the VMA, and the hospital periodically organizes campaigns to draw attention to blood donation as an expression of solidarity and participation of the whole society.
